SERVICE ABOVE SELF 

Rotarian Mamta Jaiswal is a philanthropist, an enthusiastic entrepreneur, and fashion designer as well. A commerce graduate and post graduate in computer applications, she presently holds the position of district chairman for Rotary International Youth Exchange for  2022-23.

Married to Manish Jaiswal, a leading member in the hotel and real estate business, both are diligently involved in the field of philanthropist and are key members of Rotary District 3030.

The couple is blessed with two children, Pranay and Sanvi.  Both Manish and Mamta are pioneers in their respective fields. While Pranay  is pursuing medical in international university, Sanvi is in her secondary education.

As a part of parents' philanthropy legacy, both the kids are actively involved with Rotary and serve for the welfare of the society. Mamta has always believed in hard work, dedication, persistent, efforts, leadership qualities, and growth through innovative ideas. With this, she has successfully started a new venture, Golden Leaf Banquet, in the hospitality sector in Nagpur.

She feels privileged to serve the Rotary for 12 years and is a catalyst to change young ambassadors' mindsets. 'Mother', fondly addressed by many Rotary International Youth Exchange student, Mamta joined the Rotary Club in 2010 and envisioned empowering service to strengthen the Rotary Youth Exchange in her District 3030.

She is actively engaged in preparing foreign students for District Conference and has significantly contributed to carry out family exchange programs successfully. Under her leadership, in the Rotary Youth Exchange program since 2010, students explore various countries as exchange students.

For anchoring this, she was honoured by the hands  of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Nana Patekar, and Mayor Sandeep Joshi. A passionate traveller, Mamta has travelled many countries connected with Rotary. She had attended a Rotary meeting in London at the Rotary World Headquarters in 2013. 

In 2014-15, Mamta received an award of appreciation for Rotary Youth Exchange at the hands of DG Dada Deshmukh in Nashik am in 2017-18, she relieved special appreciation award for executing multiple programs in eight years for socio-economic benefits of Nagpur like no plastic campaign, transformation of NMC schools,plantation drive along with forest department, and a cleanliness drive at various slum areas in Nagpur City. 

She is a proud awarded of silver plate from Rotary Club Nagpur for her exemplary work for the International Youth Exchange in 2019. In 2016 and 2022, Mamta visited the Chicago 'One Rotary Centre' where she met some illustrious dignitaries from the world.

Mamta is a proud recipient of many appreciations and also a citation award winner for the support of Rotary International Youth Exchange Students. All-in-one,  she has bags 16 awards from Rotary International District 3030 for successfully running the Rotary Youth Exchange Program since 2010.

Recently, Mamta became an eminent spokesperson at the Youth Exchange Officers Pre-Convention from June 4-8, 2022. Her mesmerising session at Houston Rotary International Youth Exchange Convention 2022 impressed the Youth Exchange Officer's from around the globe.

Her presentation on 'engaging inbounds' was highlighted with apt examples from the pattern employed by the Indian hosts. It also positively promoted Indian culture. She has been requested to share the Indian process of engaging with inbounds by many other countries, so that they too can implement our ways in their home countries.

Mamta's mantra for life is 'service above self' and she continuously strives to impact more young minds in the community.
