POWERHOUSE OF ENTERTAINMENT  - ANUPAMA TAPADIA LADDHA 
Director, Tapadia City Centre, Amravati

Anupama Tapadia Laddha is the direction of Tapadia City Centre, Amravati. An All India Ranker in CA Foundation in 2000, Anupama is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a degree in LLB and LLM (University of Durham, UK), and is now pursuing PhD in corporate social responsibility. 

She has been an all-rounder throughout her life, performing on stage came very naturally to her. She has done her vishaarad in katakana, senior diploma in Bharatnatyam, and also has an expertise is in Rajasthan folk dance where she dances balancing 75 pots on head.

Though she has lived in USA and UK, her heart always longed for India. Anupama and her husband, Madhur, were always clear that they want to come back to the country and specially to their hometown - Amravati -- and do something worthwhile for the city and community.

While the big leap in career was in planning phase, Anupama freelanced as a soft skill trainer certified under Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University and at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She also worked as a part time faculty at Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh College of Law, Amravati.

SUCCESS STORY 
While her career path is filled with ups and downs, Anupama has been an opportunist. Belonging to a family who are into real estate sector for about four decades, Anupama knew that she has a fare backing. However, converting that chance to reality was surely not a piece of cake. Playing an instrumental part in creation of Tapadia City Centre, Amravati, and running it successfully and bringing smiles on faces of lakhs of Amravati and is her biggest achievement. 

Not just for the fact that she is now leading the show as a director at TCC, but because sit is a dream project of her father (Jugalkishore Tapadia). This project is the vision of Madhur as well. He knew what people of Amravati exactly wanted and they both worked day in and day out to give it to them in form of Tapadia City Centre.

SPECIAL MOMENTS 
● Launch of Tapadia City Centre in June 2022 was the most important moment in Anupama's life. It not only changed 'her identity', but also changed 'the skyline of the whole city'. It has made a mark as the Most Promising  Mall in India and changed the way people look at her 3 cities.

● Anupama also became the first lady member in the managing committee of Amravati Branch of WIRC of ICAI. She is currently serving as the vice-chairperson. She is also the first non-practicing chartered accountant in this committee.

● Though she enjoys being an entrepreneur, she loves and still tries to full fill her passion of being a trainer and mentor. "When dealing with young minds, you mind of get a superpower to influence them in the right direction", says Anupama.

CHALLENGES 
Being a second-generation entrepreneur, there are many privileges and Anupama has no complains. She shares, "Sometimes it is hard to get the recognition that you deserve. It's not surprising that many-a-times,  people demean your success and all the credit simply goes over to your family’s name and fame." 

Being a woman further adds to this. However hard you work and intelligent you are, you need to prove yourself time and again. You have to become a multi-tasker without a choice.

Also, being a chartered accountant and lawyer, people often ask Anupama as to why she does not practice either? She replies, "I like to follow my passion. I am a creative person Bhawan nature, accounts do not interested me; marketing and events do. And I am not ashamed to admit it. At Tapadia City Centre, my husband handles the mall management  (including accounts and finance) and I take care of marketing, public relations, and events along with the team".

GLIMPSE OF HER LIFE 
Anupama loves to keep doing things that are out-of-the-box. She avers, "I like adventure. I am a social
